The Sendai Convention Bureau opened a souvenir booth at the Japanese Alcohol, Nicotine & Drug Addiction Conference 2022, a joint annual meeting of related societies, held at the Sendai International Center on September 9th-10th. In addition to processed foods such as Zunda (crushed edamame), “gyutan” grilled beef tongue, and marine products, we offered a variety of popular souvenirs such as multi-functional ballpoint pens with the name of the academic societies and Sendai dialect kokeshi dolls, which attracted the attention of participants.
In the past few years, there have been fewer opportunities to sell products at convention venues due to the COVID-19, but recently we have noticed a gradual return of activities.
