On Saturday, November 5, 2022, the “2022 International Conference Volunteer Symposium” was held at the Sendai International Center. Mr. Shinobu Watanabe, Director of the Sendai G7 Science and Technology Ministers Meeting Promotion Office, was invited to give an update on the G7 Science and Technology Ministers Meeting to be held in May next year.
Also, three foreigners (Mr. Davide Bitti, Ms. Wesley Keppel-Henry, and Mr. Monder Rehamnia), who have been sharing Sendai’s attractions on social media sites, online and other means, were invited to speak on the theme of “Comparison of Japanese Hospitality and Overseas Hospitality”.
Participants commented that they were able to learn about the unique perspectives of foreigners and that they learned a lot about the differences in meals according to religion.
