Sendai Convention Bureau, part of Sendai Tourism, Convention and International Association (SenTIA), exhibited at The 32nd International MICE Expo Japan (IME2023) held at the Tokyo International Forum on February 16, 2023.
IME is Japan’s largest business event for conferences, conventions, corporate meetings, incentive tours, and study tours.
This year, the first time in three years that the event was held locally and in person, 73 convention promotion organizations from across Japan exhibited, attracting nearly 300 buyers. Although the exhibition period lasted only 5 hours, it was a great success for our bureau. Our booth attracted 18 groups, including visitors from overseas.
Sendai Convention Bureau will continue to actively promote Sendai’s attractions to as many buyers as possible, and will make further efforts to attract more MICE events in the future.
