In conjunction with the 32nd Annual Meeting of the Japanese Breast Cancer Society, the “Sendai MachiBar (Street Bar) ” event will be held for three days from July 11 (Thu) to July 13 (Sat). This event will take place in approximately 60 establishments in downtown Sendai, including the Ichibancho, Chuo-dori, and Kokubuncho areas.
Not only will participating restaurants offer special “Sendai-exclusive” menus and products, but shops and other stores will also participate. The aim is to promote participant circulation and stimulate the local economy.

The 32nd Annual Meeting of the Japanese Breast Cancer Society has been selected by the Japan Tourism Agency’s “Demonstration Project for Enhancing the Appeal of International Conference Destinations,” with the Sendai Tourism, Convention and International Association providing support through a “Participant Benefit Program to Improve Local Circulation.” Additionally, one-day subway passes are being provided to promote conventions held at multiple locations.
