On Wednesday, August 28, 2024, two staff from our association participated in the “JNTO Incentive Travel Business Meeting (Korea)” held in Seoul, Korea.
Twenty-two Japanese organizations participated as sellers and 46 Korean organizations participated as buyers. At the business matching event, our staff members held meetings with eight local travel agencies to provide the latest information on Sendai and to listen to the needs of the buyers. On the day following the business meeting, our staff also visited travel agencies, an airline company, and a tourism association in Seoul to discuss trends in the Korean market.
As we were able to meet new buyers through this business trip, we will continue to exchange information, build a network of contacts, and continue our efforts to attract new buyers.
