On Wednesday, September 4, 2024, staff members from our association exhibited at the “JNTO Incentive Travel Business Meeting (Taiwan)” held in Taipei, Taiwan.
Twenty-five organizations from all over Japan, from Sapporo to Okinawa, participated in this business meeting, and 30 travel agencies from the Taiwan side participated as buyers. Our association held business meetings with a total of 8 travel agencies, providing the latest information on Sendai and introducing its support system for incentive travel. The day before the meeting, we visited travel agencies and an airline company in Taipei to exchange information.
Based on the information and needs of the meetings and incentive market in Taiwan obtained through this direct visit to the region, we will continue to provide information and design a support system that will help attract more visitors to Sendai City and the Tohoku region.
