On Monday, October 28, 2024, the Sendai Convention Bureau participated in the “JNTO MICE Business Meeting (Singapore)” held in Singapore.
A total of 28 organizations from Japan exhibited at the event, while 32 organizations from Singapore participated as buyers. Our association held business meetings with 8 travel agencies, corporations, and MICE planners, sharing the latest information about Sendai and introducing support programs for incentive travel and conventions.
Additionally, the day after the business meeting, we visited travel agencies in Singapore to exchange information.
By directly visiting the local area, we gained valuable insights into Singapore’s MICE market and its needs. We aim to utilize this knowledge to enhance our future initiatives, such as providing continuous information and designing support systems to promote attraction efforts.
