The Sendai Convention Bureau offers various subsidies, such as those introduced below, in order to strengthen the attraction of conventions and enhance support for them. Please contact the Sendai Convention Bureau for a free consultation in English or Japanese to learn more about subsidy contents, eligibility requirements, and application and payment processes. Meetings can also be arranged online using ZOOM.
Convention Subsidy Programs offer financial support for holding domestic or international in-person conventions for 2 days or more in Sendai City.
We will provide a Sendai-style hospitality menu for conventions held in Sendai City (some facilities outside the city are acceptable) that are not using the above subsidy programs. Menu options include financial support to cover items such as live entertainment, catering, sake tasting and Japanese cultural experiences.
